Newly announced journal: International Journal of Nuclear Exergy

In a world running out of fossil fuels, facing multifaceted scarcity and contending with pollution, all energies are not equal. This provokes many arguments based mainly on political tenets instead of science. In this context the concept of energy can be usefully substituted by "exergy", i.e. "the maximum useful work that can be extracted from a system as it reversibly comes into equilibrium with its environment". The International Journal of Nuclear Exergy presents research that uses the exergy framework to address the challenges facing humanity.

IJNEx was formed in September 2017 from a merger of the International Journal of Nuclear Desalination (IJND), 2003-2011 (Vols. 1-4) and the International Journal of Nuclear Hydrogen Production and Applications (IJNHPA), 2006-2016 (Vols. 1-3).
